I've decided that no one but the originals are cool and they're already established so there's no point in YOU trying to be neato.
And people who think they are original, 99% of the time are not, and don't even know it. Oh, tragedy.
I'm talking about Hot Topic kids AND cafe goers. I'm talking about that "sick awesome" kid with a mohawk in your 5th period Algebra class. I'm talking about the existentialist at the local cafe. I'm talking about you, your friends, my friends, and myself. We're posers. All of us. Embrace your inner poser or face annilihation and ignorance.
Kids, if you're gonna try to be original, THEN TRY TO BE ORIGINAL. Don't think slapping a smarmy Hot Topic sticker on your binder makes you different. Or wearing band tees. Or writing poetry. It may make you cool, but certainly not original--there's a difference, people. Like, coffee and Kill Hannah are both cool, but neither is original. So too can original things be really uncool, like say plaid ceilings. So choose your balance wisely.
Then again, maybe I've just been around Mel too much.
