I finally got an iPod. =D A beautiful 20GB Color iPod. It's wonderful; but CDs take forever to upload to it because my computer is a total dork. But eventually, I will have all of my albums and a little extra music from the Internet in my pocket! I still love the aesthetic value of using CDs, though...but my iPod is a colour one, so it lets you upload album art too, which will be nice and very CDesque.
Ohmigod. Apple is the epitome of corporate art; their products, packaging, manuals, software, everything is so beautiful! The box was a black and silver cube, and the inside was completely white, and parted down the centre to reveal all components. And...and...and....go buy one! See for yourself. I'm not sure how I feel about the merging of art and corporation (coincidentally the theme of last Adbusters), but it is truly fantastic looking, at the very least. I can definitely see an iBook of some sort in my future.
So, today is my last day of freedom, and I'm wasting it in my basement. ='( I still have to write my debate case, due three days ago and barely begun, clean up my room, get my school things in order, and pick up my suits at the tailor. I'm probably going to call Sara later to commiserate and salvage at least part of my final day of summer.
