88.5 WXPN bestows so many gifts on us. Today, it gifted me a beautiful song, When in Rome by Nickel Creek. (not to be confused with Nickelback) It's this beautiful Celtic-inspired esoteric acoustic ballad. It serenaded me on my way to pick up fresh writing paper at Staples for good old school, and I was lucky enough to have my petition to learn the name of the song answered; the song ended just in time, and was the end of the set, so I got to hear the artist and song title, which rarely happens due to the length of XPN's songs and sets. =) God is smiling within me today. When in Rome will probably be my blog song of the future, when Rufus expires; I feel it more accurately renders my character :P
