I went on a field trip to NYC today...it was supposed to be to visit the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine. We ended up spending 10 minutes there; we lit a candle in honour of the Aids Memorial there, and we just left lol. We went over to Columbia University instead and faked our way into the dining area, whereuopn we found the good sections (Indian, Asian, etc.) were not open yet. They did have vegan option(s) though!
Then we went back into the city and got some coffee, which sucked horribly, and then searched for lunch; I ended up getting a vegetarian panini at this deli which, despite it serving tons of meat and organs (eew), was extremely veg-friendly, and many vegan-like people ate there. Then it was back to the bus lol...my day consisted of mostly busing....get up, 20 minute busride to school, 2 hour busride to NYC, 2 hrs in NYC, 2 hour busride back to school, 15 minute busride home. Meh. Very lethargic day.
On a more random note, I smell like Coconut Lime with Verbena.
