I feel very flowerchild this afternoon. Colin lent me the Velvet Undeground and Nico CD, and I've listened to it three times so far...I especially like "All Tomorrow's Parties"....very 60s sound, extremely reminscent. It's like a trip back to the summer of love. I've also been burning "India Moon" incense in my room, drinking Assam Black Tea, and drawing a Tantric-esque circle pattern on the back cover of my journal. I'd take a picture for you, but I can't seem to find the camera...which is a shame, because I have a bunch of photos I wanted to load up; got some new ones of yours truly, and a few shots of my beautiful dinner which I crafted last night--it turned out great and I thought it was blog-worthy, so yeah.

On that note, I think I may have a calling to be a photographer; I have always had my face behind a camera, especially when great natural phonomena occurs; sunsets, clouds blowing into a certain formation, etc. Additionally, I often "see" a shot in everyday beauty; an alignment of things which is especially aesthetically pleasing just "pops" into my view, it just clicks that it's there, and I am usually compelled to grab the camera and click away to load some pics up to here! Actually, I see most beauty primarily in "photograph" format; alignements, attunements of objects, like windows into an ultimate aesthetic. If I'm weirding you out at all, or if I'm not making any sense to you, you can just stop reading; its an "artist" thing, I guess. Or just a "me" thing =-P Just thought I'd inform you about a possible future career and/or passion.

I feel really psychadelic this afternoon. The music, tea, incense, and drawing put you in this trance-like state of hippy euphoria. And to top it all off, I was just informed that there is great astronomical motion in the heavens this week--a solar eclipse this Friday, in fact. This calls for some 5th Dimension..."When the moooon is in the seventh house....." =)

Peace, Love, Pita Bread :)
