aah...it rained a beautiful rain last night. So soft, little drops of water dotting the window to a blue hue outside by the amber light of my gandhi lantern. So refreshing, so rejuvinating. And then this morning, instead of the -50 degree weather we've been having, it was actually quite pleasant; on the bus, I listened to Dave Matthews and drank my mandarin spice tea while looking at the sunset, and I thought how much the tea tasted like liquid sunshine, if there were such a thing. So bright and powerful...yum...and there was a nice warm breeze blowing throught the cracked windows on the bus, and it ran through my hair and you could feel everything, every little motion of the bus. And I had 20 minutes of beautiful solitude.
Anyway, in other news, I got my braces off, at long last! It isn't nearly as cool as I thought it would be...first of all, I still have a pretty bad overbite, and also my teeth jut out at an angle...they're actually quite ugly in my opinion. It doesn't look like the braces are done doing their job, yet. But I don't wanna get them back on either. Plus, I have weird discolouration on my teeth from the braces...I'll be able to use Crest WhiteStrips to fix that, but the other problem is a big one that won't go away. Oh, despair. How my emotions can change so fast, the blink of an eye.
