So I'm listening to the Avenue Q soundtrack and I'm inspired to surf the web for some Q-oriented sites. Here are a few I came up with:

I was thinking about how utterly cool it would be to make a life in NYC and be a broadway actor/singer; it would be cool to live in Napa Valley and own a vineyard, too. It'd be cool to be a musician and travel on the road. It'd be cool to be a jorunalist and travel to exotic places in the world. It'd be cool to live, is what this all sums up to. It's gonna be hard to decide what to do with my life, but at least I have "life"; it's full of innumerable possibilities, and it's gonna get really fun soon.

Yeah, so I looked up pricing for the show....nearly $100 per seat! For my family to go up and see it on my birthday, as I was contemplating, would cost about $411...wow. Now, Wicked would cost about $440 for the same time and date, but somehow that seems like less of a big deal; Wicked really takes you somewhere far, far away, and Avenue Q is OK, but I think its more realistic, and dare-I-say cliché broadway (hey, that all rhymed!) and maybe a teensy bit over-glamourized. But hey, I still want to see it; I can't judge because I haven't seen it (only heard it), but I think Wicked should've won Best Musical at the 2004 Tonys. Wicked was robbed! Robbed!
