I just got back from the salon--I spent $13 bucks on a cut and a whopping $15.75 on a tiny tube of product. They've sure got a racket going there; I mean, the haircut lasted less than 10 minutes, and they barely cut off 1/4 inch. It looks the same as when I went in there :'( What a waste. And the product, well, its Redken Molding Paste, and its 2.5 oz of it, and it is 25 cents short of 16 bucks, as contrasted with Loreral Remix Paste, which has the exact same ingredients, comes in the identical tube, and has .5 oz MORE product in it; this costs a mere $5.00. Why so much for the former? One word; Redken. Big names carry big price tags. Let this serve as an example to all of you salon-seekers; don't let the above happen to you!
I swear I'm going short next time....no more wimpy "cut off the dead ends" cuts for me. And if it is an upkeep cut, it'll at least have a visual impact; coming out of a salon looking the same as how you went in with the only difference being that you are $30 lighter is not a good thing, people.
In other news....well, there really is no other news. I'm eating a cherry soy-yogurt. Yum.
That's all for now folks.
