Just woke up a few hours ago...took a nice long shower (as contrasted with the 7.2 second ones taken during the week)...made vegan pancakes ::drools::...I have to do homework now. I didn't get around to any of it because I've been out all weekend. For those you you who missed it all, here's a little recap, bromen down into bite-size day-by-day (or night-by-night, rather) chunks:

Friday Night: Went to A Midsummer Night's Dream at ND with Caitlin. It was actually quite good; it was a backstage production, very remniscent of the Globe Theatre...trés Shakespearian. There were some technical difficulties, but all in all it was good. Also, there were some amazing actors performing in it; specifically the ones who played Puck and Nick Bottom. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Oh yeah, Andy was in it too, as Snout the tinker, if I recall correctly. He was pretty good, but I think that they could've done a better job with his costume...there was this odd grey paper maché thing that he wore as a helmet of sorts. Someone in wardrobe needs a stern chastisement. Buy hey...Nice job guys! Almost as good as SAS'04's production...almost :P.

Saturday Night: Went to SNL at my school, a bunch of live loca bands and ameteur films (no, not that kind of ameteur film, you pervert). I took Caitlin and Mel along with me. Mel was in total shock at the sight of males for the first time in months XD. Anyway, the music started out pretty good; this guy did acoustic covers of Eagle Eye Cherry and Oasis. We walked around a bit, and there were a ton of SAS kids there for no apparent reason; we avoided them at all costs, at Caitlin's request (who knew she hated exSASers so? Not I, for one...though I think it's cool she does...I do too.). They were fairly easy to spot, and therefore avoid, as they all traveled in a giant clan, kind of like a giant tumor in the SNL body. So, the night went on, and kind of dragged from there; the movies were über-sucky, sad to say, and it got rather boring. And then Roselind came on! Mel was in a stupor of amazement, Caitlin was in love with them, and I couldn't stop screaming. For those of you who don't know, Roselind=Amazing!!!!! They performed amazing songs one after the other, and you should've seen the place when they announced that CDs and shirts were available; it was a madhouse! Luckily, Caitlin and I snatched up the last two t-shirts! Oh!! And John O'Neill, the lead singer, signed our shoes!!!! woo0o0ot! I kept trying to get his attention, and I'd pretty much given up, but Mel said "Just ask him Geoff, or you'll hate yourself forever." :P. Well, we got his autograph on our Converses (lol, we all have Converses...WE'RE NOT cliché, I SWEAR!!!!!). Anyway, after Roselind, SNL was over, and we went home. It was a pretty good night.

Random anecdote: When we left, it was raining out, and there were puddles everywhere. Not wanting to get shoes wet, we hopped on one foot across the parking lot to my car. The autographs were fine, no smearing whatseover. We may have looked like fools in the parking lot, but we're fools with intact autographs, nonetheless.

Oh yeah, check out Roselind; www.myspace.com/Roselindmusic <---you can listen to a few of their songs there--I recommend Prey and Down That Road Before.

So yeah, it was quite a busy weekend...mais très magnifique!
